The month of July is flying by so fast.

We spent the Fourth Of July at home watching my son and his friends light off fireworks. Not even a week later I set up at the Westerville Music and Arts Festival where we had a hot hot weekend. Attendance seemed a bit down but I had a successful weekend.I had quite a few of my regular customers stop by and visit and my friend (also a vendor) stayed at the house through the event.

A few days later I hoped on a bus and headed to New York City. This was my third trip there so I felt pretty comfortable getting around town to the places we wanted to see. This time around I took my youngest daughter and she loved it. I visited the Met for the first time where we stood in a long line to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit. It was well worth the wait because it was phenomenal.

and then this past weekend me and the family went to a wedding where my oldest daughter was the maid of honor. Her and the bride have been friends since grade school. They had a movie themed wedding because the bride and groom met at AMC theaters.

This week I hope to spend more time at the pool :o)

  1. you have been busy! NY is on my list of places I want to go to before I die, lol! We where going to go this year for vacation, but since we bought a house, our vacation fund is going toward paint, a new stove, and fridge, and 3 toilets (apparently) etc.

    oh well!

BTW, that tree stand holding the pouches is super adorable!

As far as the vacation fund we have had to give up vacations before to fix stuff in our house that happens, my hubby always complains that stuff is always breaking around here. lol
My man came up with the tree idea he was inspired by your mushroom tables.
    Hugs to you

  3. Julia, I really do like your mushroom tables. I thought your whole booth set was great.
My true inspiration for the (unfinished) tree stand was the tree I cut out for my daughter to diplay her handmade fabric owl necklaces.
